Natural Sand — or river sand — is the traditional fine aggregate used in concrete, mortar, and plastering. TSG Impex sources natural sand from approved riverbed quarries, screens and grades it to meet IS 383 requirements, and supplies it with full testing documentation.
With increasing regulatory restrictions on river sand mining, reliable and compliant supply has become a critical challenge for the construction industry. TSG Impex's established sourcing network and logistics fleet ensure consistent, on-time delivery of properly graded natural sand to your project or plant.
Natural rounded particle shape gives concrete and mortar superior workability and finishability over manufactured sand.
Decades of established mix design data — no adjustment required when switching from unregulated to tested natural sand.
All supply screened and silt-tested. Excessive silt is one of the biggest quality failures on site — we eliminate it.
Zone II (2.2–2.6 FM) — the most preferred grade for structural concrete — is consistently available.
TSG Impex's logistics network ensures scheduled, consistent supply — no project delays due to sand shortage.
Grading, silt, specific gravity, and organic impurity test reports with every consignment.
Test reports and batch certificates are available on request with every consignment.

Both have their place. Natural sand has superior workability due to rounded particles. M-Sand has more consistent grading and no silt. The choice depends on project specification, local availability, and cost. TSG Impex supplies both natural sand and aggregate for M-Sand blending.
IS 383 limits silt to ≤ 3% by mass for fine aggregate used in concrete. For plastering mortar, up to 4% may be acceptable. Field silt tests (jar test) should not exceed 8% by volume.
Fineness Modulus (FM) is a measure of overall coarseness of sand — ranging from 2.2 (fine) to 3.2 (coarse). FM 2.2–2.6 (Zone II) is optimal for structural concrete. FM affects water demand, workability, and bleeding.
Washed and screened sand is available on request — particularly for high-quality plastering and fair-faced concrete applications.
